Here’s what it looks like to get involved at the Avenue.

4 Week Challenge

To get a real feel for what the Avenue is like and is all about, we invite you to try it out for 4 weeks. During that time you will have opportunities to connect with others, meet some of our staff, and truly see if our community will make a good fit. Already begun your visit? Fill out the Welcome Card below so we can get to know you and stay in touch.

Attend Avenue In 20

Join us the second Sunday of every month immediately following the service for a short 20 minute reception to learn more about our church. Light refreshments are served as you have the chance to meet and mingle with some of our pastors and staff.

Party of 8

Party of 8 is a semi-monthly gathering where you can connect with a few families from the Avenue as well our pastors. Guests share a meal in someone’s home, hang out, and enjoy getting to know one another.

Join a Gospel Community

Gospel communities are small groups of people that band together around the gospel to work out the implications of our faith, care for each other, grow together and be on God’s mission together. These groups meet weekly in homes throughout Eastern Jackson County. Click below to find out more, and to learn how to join a group.

Each week at the Avenue, the service of volunteers make it possible for others to hear the message of Jesus. In serving, we emulate the great example of Christ who came “not to be served, but to serve.” Join us as we serve our neighbors and our city for the glory of God and the good of all people.

Become a Member

Partnering together as members of one body is what Jesus had in mind for the church, and is an important step in the life of a disciple at The Avenue. We ask that you prayerfully consider and evaluate your goals for church as you consider joining our family. We expect our members to be involved with us though worship gatherings, Gospel Communities, stewardship, service and Gospel-centered missional living. Our hope for our members is that the mission God has given this church is adopted as their own.
