We know that especially as a church, it’s critical that we don’t only have a mission & vision, but that we act upon them. Here are just a few of the ways we’ve acted upon our guiding statements lately…
- Service through several Kansas City-based organizations like the Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity, Freedom From Cancer Cycling Ride and Independence School District Project Shine to transform lives and impact the culture around us.
- In summer 2011, our Avenue Kids participated in “mini-missions” projects to serve culture and learn about Christ.
- Mission: Ignition weekends throughout the year to impact culture.
- We’ve become a candidate church with Acts 29 to continue our vision of planting churches.
