The Avenue’s student ministry is for students in grades 6-12. Students come from a variety of middle schools and high schools across the Kansas City metro area.
Called “The Crosswalk,” the student ministry meets each week at 9:30am on Sunday mornings at the Villages of Jackson Creek retirement homes located next to the Hilton Garden Inn, off of Jackson Drive.
Student Ministry Activities at The Avenue
The student ministry meets each Sunday morning to have age-appropriate Bible teaching, and relevant conversations about how to live Biblically in the context of middle and high school.
The students meet each month for a fun hangout whether it’s a Halloween party, Guitar Hero Rock-Off party, cookout or movie night! The students also serve the Kansas City community through projects with Harvesters and other community organizations.
Led by two twenty-something couples, our CrossWalk students are individually mentored and discipled by devoted men & women who feel called to work with students at The Avenue.
Our student ministry is led by Jonathan & Malarie Tucker and Jerry & Kady Mason. With questions about The Crosswalk, please contact Jonathan.
