Each year, The Avenue hosts a free children’s clothing exchange in the Independence, MO area, called our Swap & Shop. This event is a great way for families to stock up on new sizes of children’s clothing, at no cost.
How does the Swap & Shop Work?
The Swap & Shop is a service of The Avenue church, and hosted for the community. There are three steps to the Swap & Shop:
- Families find any gently-used, outgrown children’s clothing or toys they do not need anymore. Bring them to the Swap & Shop.
- We’ll give you an empty bag in exchange for your outgrown items.
- Families stock up on new (to them) clothing and toys — all for FREE!
