The Avenue takes an Acts 1:8 approach toward missions and world involvement. We believe that we’re called to not only share Christ at home but to our city, region, country and the world, too. While some are called to influence those directly next door, others at The Avenue are called to missional living throughout our cities, country and the world.
It’s no small feat to make an impact on our entire Acts 1:8 circles of influence as a church. Several church members feel called to unique ministry areas, and we provide counseling and support to help each individual discern how God is leading them in ministry.
As a church, we also feel called to spread our wings and share Christ through an Acts 1:8 approach. In addition to several service opportunities we take on as a church body, we partner with organizations in each of our Acts 1:8 spheres. The Avenue supports the following groups through endorsing their ministries and providing resources, volunteers, promotions and financial assistance. Our partnerships are always a work in process as God continues to bring new opportunities for like-minded ministry partners.

This pregnancy resource center ministers to women across Kansas City and is a dedicated life-saving, Gospel-centered organization.
Summit Christian Academy
As a covenant church, The Avenue supports this school for families seeking a Christian education for their children.
A ministry that provides post-abortive counseling and support to women and men.
National Outreach
As fellow Missourians, we were stirred to help those in our state after the Joplin tornado. We work together with Mystery Church in Joplin, MO to help teams assimilate and serve tornado cleanup efforts.
Our affiliation with Acts 29 allows us to be involved with national church planting efforts. From leadership conferences to financial opportunities to help start new churches, Acts 29 keeps us involved in what God’s doing around the USA, and the world.

Devoted to sharing the uplifting message of survival and hope, this documentary seeks to share the message of Christ while raising funds for orphaned children in Liberia to attend school.
