Community at The Avenue is one of our greatest values. We strive to have relationships similar to those in the early Acts church who ate, prayed and lived life together.
Joining community at The Avenue will bring you into Biblical friendships, accountable relationships, mentoring relationships and discipleship opportunities. For those looking to grow in their personal relationships with God, we encourage community. We also encourage community for those desiring friendships and a place to “belong.”

There are several ways to join community at The Avenue. Here are a few ways:
Join a Life Group
Our biggest distinctive as a church, our life groups keep us connected, accountable and growing with one another. If you want to get involved at The Avenue, this is your first step.
Locate one of The Avenue’s Eastern Jackson County Life Groups nearest you.
Participate in corporate gatherings
While we are a family of sent missionaries we gather most Sundays to celebrate what God is doing in our community. We equip each other and point back out to scatter as a sent people into our neighborhoods. Mission Ignition, House Worship, and Sunday services, are all a valuable parts of Avenue life.
Log on to The City
The City is a website for The Avenue where all who call our church “home” can log on to learn about church news, prayer needs, service needs and other life events happening among those at The Avenue.

Join a Bible Study, Interest Group and more
The Avenue has several groups for those who share common interests. At any given time, we may have a men’s and women’s Bible study group going (in addition to our life groups).
